Not On My Watch — Rhino Orphanage Documentary Short

In 2014, I directed, edited, wrote, shot, and produced the documentary short Not On My Watch funded by Youth 4 African Wildlife, StopRhinoPoaching.com, and the Now or Never African Wildlife Trust (NNAWT).

The 14-minute documentary reached #4 on Viral Videos when it was released on YouTube after premiering in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The film follows the story of Arrie van Deventer, the founder of the Rhino Orphanage in South Africa, as he tries to find where all the missing rhino calfs have gone. Full of hope and determination, the film follows one man as he refuses to see the extinction of a creature that’s roamed the earth for 50 million years. Not on his watch.

Visible Poetry Project

From 2016-2019, I was one of 30 filmmakers selected to create a “visual poem” as part of the international Visible Poetry Project. Each film was a collaboration between myself and a poet to create a short poetry music video.
